Unlike Any Tournament You’ll Ever Play In


Seriously…

It’s Saint Patty’s and we believe it’s the greatest day of the year. The atmosphere makes this one of the great softball events you’ll ever play in. You’ll just have to play to see. Look, it’s Saint Patty’s day, let’s party.

We will have an obscene number of giveaways and prizes including bats, bags, equipment, and more. Oh and of course… green green green!
Costume up to avoid “getting pinched”. If you don’t, by rule, it could affect your team. We will be awarding prizes to the best male, female and even kid’s costumes!  

 

Check In Early at the
Pre-Party

There will be a pre-party and registration Friday night, March 15th @ Red’s at Golden Eagle from 6-11pm. Get signed in early, grab fantastic food specials, enter the Dublin Dirty and have dozens of chances at finding free Mulligans.  Also, get first dibs on the official Dublin Dirty Apparel and Hats. All teams that arrive at the party will receive a raffle ticket for chances to win prizes, cash and tournament luck.  You’ll see!

All brackets are considered separate tournaments. WE WILL NOT HOLD UP A GAME to wait for players on another team. NO EXCEPTIONS!

 

The Atmosphere

 

Saint Patrick’s Day falls on Championship Sunday and we are holding nothing back!! The Atmosphere, the Irishness and the rules will be the same at both complexes. Just because some teams will start out at Shadow Mountain doesn’t mean they will miss out on what makes Dublin Dirty what it is. Get in now because before you blink . . .all 84 spots will be gone!

 

Location

 The tournament takes place at Golden Eagle Regional Park (6 fields – one of the top recreational parks in the country).

Check-In
You may check in at the Friday night party or the day of the tournament.  You must have a team representative check in before your first game.  After you turn your roster and the remainder of your registration fee in, you will be given a receipt. This receipt MUST be presented to the umpire before each of your games. If you do not have your receipt, your game will not begin and it will be considered a forfeit.

 

Inclement Weather 

Typically the weather is great over Saint Patrick’s Day weekend, but you never know. Golden Eagle Park is an all field-turf complex, Shadow Mountain is a dirt complex. Golden Eagle Park games will take place almost under any weather circumstances. In the unlikely event that the weather forecast looks like it may affect the dirt fields (Shadow Mountain) we will move the tournament to Golden Eagle Park only, drop the last 26 teams that registered chronologically and refund their money. Again, in the unlikely event that weather potentially cancels the Shadow Mountain bracket, we will do our best to make the cancellation notice by Wednesday, March 13th at 5pm at the latest.

 

REFUND POLICY
50% refund if rained out with one game – 25% refund with two games played.
No refund if rained out with three or more games played.

 

Protests

1. Protests $100
2. Protests must take place immediately following a play and before the next pitch.
3. Roster checks must be done before the start of the 2nd inning or if a player enters a game after the 2nd inning, immediately following the 1st pitch after the player enters the game. Protests are $100. If the protest is upheld the $100 will be returned.

 

 

 

 

 

The Format

First 86 teams get in.
3 game guarantee! We don’t want you going anywhere.
All teams start in the “Pot of Gold” division.
Teams that lose their first two games will have a play-in game to make a single elimination “Clover” division.

Registration Fee – $415
A Non-Refundable Holding Deposit- $50
(In order to reserve a spot, teams either need to pay in full or place a $50 holding deposit. If you pay the holding deposit, the final balance is due at check-in and will be deducted from your team’s total registration fee.)
Registration Close- Always sells out mid-January

Chips

MEN’S

(one of the following scenarios)
Mens team’s roster rankings based on the following point system:
Can have 4 points max!
E or below = 0 points
D or D+ = 1 point each
C = 2 points each
NO B or higher players

COED

(one of the following scenarios)
Coed team’s roster rankings based on the following point system:
Can have 3 points max!
Women  Players = 0 points
E or below = 0 points
D or D+ = 1 point each
C = 2 points each
NO B or higher male players


The Brackets

Brackets will be revealed on Monday, March 11th, 2019.

 

Park Rules

No glass containers in Complex or parking lot. Outside beer & alcohol is prohibited inside the complex. Absolutely no sunflower seeds or gum inside the Golden Eagle Park location. That stuff ruins the turf!

 

Bats and Balls

Current approved ASA bats only
.52 Core 325 Balls

 

Arseway Wheel

Must spin the wheel 10 minutes before your scheduled start times
